This is one of my favorite Dirk Pitt adventures yet! Cyclops is fast-paced, fun and full of action.

The plot in these Dirk Pitt adventures are usually very intricate and hard to explain. There's a lot going on in Cyclops. The story involves a shipwreck, a secret moon base, the lost La Dorada treasure, a Cuban torture chamber, and of course, the Soviets. I won't go into how all of this ties together, but suffice it to say, it's quite a ride!

I love the adventure most of all in Cussler's books. Well that and Dirk Pitt of course. And Dirk Pitt and adventure go hand in hand. Cussler has a way of bringing that adventure to life. While reading, I always feel I'm right there in the story diving on a sunken shipwreck or sneaking through enemy lines. That's why I just finished my 8th Dirk Pitt adventure and ready to begin my 9th. Bring on the danger and excitement!

Deep Six by Clive Cussler

Yet another fun Dirk Pitt adventure. This one is full of suspense and danger with plots to brainwash the President of the United States and take over the government. The only complaint I have is that there were so many characters that it felt a little confusing at times trying to keep all the names straight and who was who. This is quite an adventure though with a great ending featuring some awesome confederate soldiers from a Civil War reenactment. The end really made me smile. If you like action and adventure I highly recommend some Clive Cussler.

Night Probe by Clive Cussler

Another fun Dirk Pitt story. Lots of history here. Pitt and company are in a race against time to uncover some important documents from a sunken ship in the St. Lawrence seaway and from a train that disappeared in 1914. These documents, important to Great Britain, could mean war against the United States. It makes for a very entertaining race between these two countries to be the first to recover the documents and in the case of Great Britain, destroy them once and for all. Night Probe has many twist and turns and many characters, but if you can keep up it's a great read.

Vixen 03 by Clive Cussler

Vixen 03 opens in 1954. An extremely deadly plague in the form of bombs goes missing. This is a great start to an exciting adventure starring the always amusing Dirk Pitt. Over thirty years after these doomsday bombs go missing, Pitt is the one to inadvertently uncover them. All of them except two that is. Pitt becomes entangled in a deadly scheme between the African Army of Revolution and the African Defense Forces, and somebody has two very deadly plague bombs in their hands. The excitement never stops as the story takes us from the mountains of Colorado to the plains of Africa to the Potomac in Washington D.C. The excitement never stops when Dirk Pitt is around.

My thoughts:
Yet another action packed, thrilling adventure starring the ever entertaining Dirk Pitt. Raise the Titanic is full of danger, intrigue and espionage as Pitt and crew battle the Soviets and a brutal hurricane while trying to raise the Titanic from the depths of the Atlantic. Clive Cussler is great at putting his readers right in the midst of the excitment!

My thoughts:
Another fun Dirk Pitt novel. Clive Cussler writes action packed adventures that never fail to entertain. This one takes place mostly in Iceland but with a finale that takes place in Disneyland. Kind of a strange twist of events but you'll have to read the book to find out why.

Another fun Dirk Pitt adventure. This is a quick thrill ride with a lot of surprises. I absolutely love the characters of Dirk Pitt and his sidekick Al Giordino.

My thoughts:
This is the first in the Dirk Pitt adventure series and my first Clive Cussler book. It was so exciting! Pacific Vortex is full of adventure, action and mystery. It's just what I was in the mood for! Cussler did a wonderful job at creating some great characters that I totally fell in love with. I can't wait to see what adventures Dirk Pitt has in store for him next.
